REAL GOD / REAL LIFE
YTH CHRCH LIFE
Audrey is a senior at Eagle High School and loves music. Audrey was a member of the YTH CHRCH Leadership Board in 2020 and is a worship leader in the YC Band. Audrey recently shared her spiritual story at YTH CHRCH and passionately explained just how good and faithful the love of God is. She is working to further develop her message into a 3 week curriculum for high schoolers everywhere. The series is called The Body Project and is a powerful word for students and adults alike.
Don't bother Audrey, on Wednesday nights, she's busy! Whether leading a goofy game, facilitating small group, or praying with students, she is a key leader with Mid +, the middle school ministry of Eagle Nazarene Church. Middle School students love A Martin!
God has called Audrey to use her incredible musical gifts to become a worship pastor. Audrey is considering Northwest Nazarene University as a potential fit next year. Singing and worshiping is Audrey's happy place. She has rare talent, and loves to glorify God at the top of her lungs....and frankly, I'm sure God loves it too. I know I do.

It’s hard to believe, but winter camp is now in the rear view mirror! It truly feels like it was just yesterday when we were all up on the mountain together praising God and experiencing the touch of the Holy Spirit. I think it’s safe to say that weekend will be one of the highlights of my year!
Camp began on Friday as we all arrived and piled into the dining hall. Everyone became acquainted and later we all got to meet the legendary Tad and our guest speaker for the weekend, Steve. Shortly after we witnessed what was arguably the most disgusting competition I have ever witnessed. Congrats to Jake Weaver for managing to choke that monstrosity of a sundae down, it was certainly a feat! By the end of the night, the upstairs common area became the place to be, with spikeball and tunes, lasting well past midnight!
Saturday was for sure a busy day for us all as we tubed and hit the slopes! Tubing was a great time, and the double-wide backwards train may have been the highlight of the day. Over at Tamarack, Tad was out eating it (what happened to shralping, Tad?!?!) while the rest of the campers were having the time of their life. Later that evening, we received the true honor of witnessing the debut performance of Quattro Caliente. I think we can all agree they absolutely KILLED their Ice Ice Baby cover. It was going to be a challenge to try and follow up a performance like that, but Jack got up there and won the hearts of many as he sang Huntin’ Fishin’ Lovin’ Every Day. I think I teared up a bit during that one! Afterward, we all settled in for an excellent message from Steve and witnessed firsthand as the Holy Spirit worked its way through the crowd during the absolutely amazing worship from our very own YC band. The night wrapped up with our first ever official spikeball tourney and delicious Italian sodas. Sunday eventually rolled around and the last hours of camp were underway. Sunday’s big thing was the testimonies, and it was great to hear from each other and share about life experiences and how Saturday night had impacted us. Each and every single testimony was so meaningful and straight from the heart. Camp concluded with a final prayer, and it was time to head back to Eagle Naz.
Camp was truly special this year, and I can’t wait for the next one. I know that every single camper had a meaningful experience up on the mountain, and it’s my hope that everyone holds onto it and continues in their pursuit of God.
